o Open the front cover.

o Remove a pieces of packing material from inside the printer as shown in the illustration.

A piece of cardboard is inserted into the printer to protect components during shipping. Be sure to remove it before using t he printer.

o Open the rear cover.

o Remove the cardboard from the inside of the rear cover as shown in the illustration.
