Instructions for the data fields
IP Address (Home side)
| ³IP Address | Enter the local IP address of the |

| The default parameter is “192.168.0.254”. |

| If you change this IP address, change the gateway address in |

| each computer (p. 53 or 55) and change the proxy server setting |
|
| of the web browser (p. 47 or 49) in each computer if necessary. |

PPPoE Connection
When a PPPoE connection is used to connect to the ISP, you can select how to initiate/stop the PPPoE connection. First, select how to connect from the Connect. If your payment plan with your ISP does not include unlimited Internet access and you are charged, instead, according to your usage, it is recommended that you select “Automatic” or “Manual”.
³Always connected | The PPPoE connection is online as long as the |
| turned on. This is the default setting. |

³Automatic | The PPPoE connection is online only when data is being sent to |
| the Internet from a computer in the home network. This function |
| allows you to initiate/stop the PPPoE connection on the PPPoE |
| connection screen, as the Manual setting does. For more details, |
| see p. 41. |
³Manual | The PPPoE connection is online only when you click [Connect] |
| on the PPPoE connection screen. To stop the PPPoE connection, |
| click [Disconnect] on the PPPoE connection screen. For more |
| details, see p. 41. |
Disconnection on | If enabled, the |
