Turning off the input signal display and the operable button guide display

The input signal display when the input source is switched and the operable button guide displays which appear in the menu screens and the setting and adjustment screens can be prevented from being displayed by turning off the on-screen display by the following procedure.

Setting procedure

1.Press the MENU button. The MENU screen will be displayed.

2.Use the “ “ and “ ” arrow buttons to move the cursor to “OPTION”.

3.Press the ENTER button. The OPTION screen will be displayed.

4.Use the “ “ and “ ” arrow buttons to move the cursor to “INPUT DISP”.

5.Use the “ ” and “ ” arrow buttons to switch the setting to OFF.

If the setting is switched to ON, the input signal names and operable button guide displays will appear on the screen. (Factory default setting)

NOTE:

If the MENU button is pressed, the display will return to the MENU screen, or the MENU screen will be cleared if it is already being displayed.

Disabling the POWER button of the remote control unit

The POWER button on the remote control unit can be disabled to prevent the chance of turning the power off by mistake when using the remote control unit. This setting can be made by following the procedure given below.

Setting procedure

1.Press the MENU button to display the MENU screen.

2.Press the “ ” and “ ” buttons to select “OPTION”.

3.Press the ENTER button to display the OPTION screen.

4.Press the “ ” and “ ” buttons to select “REMOTE POWER”.

5.Press the “ ” and “ ” buttons to select “OFF”.

If this is set to “ON”, the POWER button on the remote control unit can be used to turn the power on and off. (Factory pre-setting)

NOTE:
