Applications
: Open the application library to view all installed applications and widgets, add applications and widgets to Home screens, and change the default main Home screen.

Desktop
The desktop is the area where you place widgets, application shortcuts, and application folders for your personal convenience.

System bar
The system bar at the bottom of a Home screen displays status icons, notification icons, the current time, and several device controls:
•Back : Go back to the previous screen.
•Home : Return to the main Home screen at any time in any application.
•Recent Apps : Open a list of thumbnail images of applications you have launched recently. To switch to an application, touch the thumbnail. To close an application, touch and hold the thumbnail to bring up the
•Favorite Apps : Display thumbnail images of your favorite applications. Touch a thumbnail to launch the application. To add an application to or remove an application from the Favorite Apps utility, open the edit view by touching and holding the Favorite Apps icon. Then, follow the onscreen instructions to perform further operation.
•Time, status, and notification area:
The right side of the system bar displays time,
When you touch the time area, the Status Details panel opens displaying the current time, date, wireless connection status, and battery status.
When any notifications are present, the summary is listed below the status details. Touch a notification to view the detailed information.
When you touch anywhere in the Status Details panel, the Quick Settings panel is displayed below the status details. Through Quick Settings, you can adjust the display brightness level, enable or disable a feature, such as mobile network connection,
To close the Quick Settings panel, touch anywhere else on the screen.
