Understanding the Printer Firmware

Your PB50 printer comes with Intermec Printer Language (IPL), Fingerprint, or ESC/P firmware. The choice of firmware affects the functionality of the printer and how you interact with it. This manual contains information for using each type of printer firmware.

The current firmware type and version display on the PB50 screen when the printer is in Ready mode.
