11. TELEPHONE/MODEM/ETHERNET SURGE PROTECTION

Surge protection for telephone line, modem line, and 10BaseT line to maintain a completely safe connection for INTERNET/INTRANET service.

12.EXTERNAL BATTERY PACK CONNECTOR (optional) Allows for extended runtime.

Caution: Use only factory supplied or authorized connecting cable for external battery pack!

13. SNMP INTERFACE PORT (optional)

This option will allow the UPS to be connected directly to a network and also allow for remote monitoring. Through the RS-232 communication port, the SNMP adapter makes your UPS become "SNMP manageable", and provides real time UPS and power status information for the network manager.

Note: It's not necessary to use this option.

Caution: Use only factory supplied or authorized SNMP monitoring kit.
