5.Set the feeder guard back.

Note:

If the paper is curled, flatten it or curl it slightly toward the opposite side before loading. Printing on curled paper may cause ink to smear on your printout.

Placing a Document

This section provides instructions on how to place a document on the document table.

Note:

Always keep the document table clean.

1.Open the document cover and place an original document on the document table, with the side to be copied facing down. Make sure that the document is properly aligned.
