128 Bit Encryption

If selected, data is encrypted using the key before being transmit- ted. The receiving station must be set to use 128 Bit Encryption, and have the same Key value. Otherwise, it will not be able to de- crypt the data.

Keys - Enter the key values you wish to use. Other stations must have the same key values.

Passphrase

To generate a set of keys from a word or phrase:

 

1.

Select the type of key required (64 Bit or 128 Bit)

 

2.

Enter the word or phrase in the "Passphrase" field.

 

3.

Click the "Generate Keys" button.

 

4.

The screen will refresh with the key values inserted.
