Removing the Video Card
CAUTION: Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions in the Product Information Guide.
NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as the back panel) on the computer.

NOTICE: Handle components and cards by their edges, and avoid touching pins and contacts.
1Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.
2Remove any installed ExpressCards from the ExpressCard slot.
3Remove any installed memory modules or Mini Cards (see "Memory" on page 19 and "Communication Cards" on page 31).
4Remove the hard drive (see "Hard Drive" on page 15).
5Remove the internal card with Bluetooth® wireless technology (see "Internal Card With Bluetooth® Wireless Technology" on page 13).
6Remove the palm rest (see "Palm Rest" on page 49).
7Remove the display graphics cable from its connector.
8Carefully lift up the video card assembly by pulling on the connector on the system board.
