NOTICE: Handle components and cards by their edges, and avoid touching pins and contacts.
1Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.
2Remove any installed ExpressCards from the ExpressCard slot.
3Remove any installed memory modules or Mini Cards (see "Memory" on page 19 and "Communication Cards" on page 31).
4Remove the hard drive (see "Hard Drive" on page 15).
5Remove the internal card with Bluetooth® wireless technology (see "Internal Card With Bluetooth® Wireless Technology" on page 13).
6Remove the display assembly (see "Display Assembly" on page 37).
7Remove the palm rest (see "Palm Rest" on page 49).
8Remove the optical drive (see "Optical Drive" on page 57).
9Remove the ExpressCard cage (see "ExpressCard Reader" on page 59).
10Remove the wireless sniffer board (see "Wireless Sniffer Board" on page 55).
11Remove the
12Disconnect the fan connector from the system board.
13Disconnect the speaker connectors from the system board.
14Disconnect the card with Bluetooth® wireless technology connector from the system board.
15Disconnect the audio board connectors from the system board.
16Remove the video card from the system board.
17Remove the five screws that secure the system board to the computer base.
18Lift the system board up vertically and out of the computer base.
