Explanation of signalwords and symbols

Warnings

Warnings are indicated by symbols. In addition they are intro- duced with signal words that express the scope of the hazard.

All instructions must be strictly complied with!

When working always act cautiously to prevent accidents, per- sonal injury, or property damage!

DANGER

DANGER indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoid- ed, will result in death or serious injury.

WARNING

WARNING indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoid- ed, could result in death or serious injury.

CAUTION

CAUTION, used with the safety alert symbol indicates a haz- ardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.

NOTICE

NOTICE is used to address practices not related to personal injury. It indicates specific actions which prevent from dam- age to the device and from loss of dictations.
