THE BADGER®-RADIX®User Guide
February 2007
To change the direction of the meter reading, press the “A” Hot Key. The Badger-Radix will display the direction of the reading by showing an arrow pointing to the left next to the reading field. When you enter a meter reading now, the reading will be shown on the display from right to left. Using the same example, if you entered 382 going from right to left (the arrow pointing to the left), you’d see this screen.
In either case, when the meter reading is completely entered, press the “Enter” key located on the upper left hand corner of the keypad. To cancel the entry, press the “C” key. To switch back to Left to Right manual reads, press the “D” Hot Key.
High and Low Limits for Manual Meter Readings
If the reading is within the high and low limits, the Badger-Radix will record the meter reading and advance the display to the next meter. If the reading is above the high limit or below the low limit, the Badger-Radix will beep twice for high and three times for low and tell you that the entered meter reading was high or low. It will ask you to re-enter the reading. This is what you will see if you enter a reading that is above the high limit.
