Programming DIALOG Modules

To program Badger Meter’s previous version of touch product, Badger DIALOG®, select Quick Read/Program Meters to display the choice of technologies from the Badger-Radix Main Menu.

Choose the technology of the meter reading module. Choose VersaProbe “V” since that wand is the one used in Programming Badger DIALOG modules. You’ll see this screen.

To program a Badger DIALOG module’s reading and clear its tamper status, you must first get the specific information about that module. The easiest way to do that is to perform a Quick Read. Connect the VersaProbe™ to the Badger-Radix, place the sensor on the module, and squeeze and release the trigger on the probe. The probe will read the module and display the current status on the screen.
