Clearing a Tamper
To clear a tamper condition, visually read the module to get the odometer value. Next, press the Reading “R” button and enter the reading via the keypad. When the reading is entered, the screen will look like this.

Setting the Odometer Reading
To adjust the AMR reading to match the registers odometer reading, first perform a quick read function with the VersaProbe™. When completed, press the Reading “R” key and enter the correct odometer value. When the new odometer value is correct, press the “O” key. The programming screen should now show the correct information. Place the VersaProbe sensor on the module and press the Program “P” button. Once the programming operation is completed, you’ll see the Successful message. If an error occurred, an error message will state the problem.
Programming a Badger DIALOG® Module’s Network ID
To program a network ID, read the module with the VersaProbe and enter the new network ID by pressing the new ID “N” key and entering the ID number via the keypad. Then press the PROG button as described above.
Note that the only time you need to change an ID number is when you are implementing a Badger DIALOG network of meters to be read with one touch pad. Please refer to the Badger DIALOG Network Tech Brief for more information.
