Chapter 2 System Setup

2.1A Quick Tour of the Panel PC

Before starting to set up the panel PC, take a moment to become familiar with the locations and purposes of controls, drives, connectors and ports, which are illustrated in the figures below.

When placed upright on the desktop, the front panel of the panel PC appears as shown in Figure 2-1:

When viewed from the left side of the panel PC, the CD-ROM drive and PCMCIA expansion sockets are visible, as shown in Fig. 2-2:
