3.Block Delete
This function deletes a block of text in a file.
1)Display the file text using the edit mode.
2)Position the cursor on the first character of the text to be deleted.
3)Hold down the Code Key and press the "P" Key. This marks the beginning of the block. Two beeps sound and a "_'" appears above "BLOCK" on the display, indicating that the block function is in effect.
4)Move the cursor to the last character of the text to be deleted.
5)Hold down the Code Key and press the "P" key again to mark the end of the block. Two beeps sound, indicating that the block of text has been defined. The defined block of text stads flashing on the display.
6)¸ Hold down the Code Key and press the Correction Key. The blo¢k of text is deleted and all succeeding text is shifted to the left to flu in the space created. The "Y"
mark above "BLOCK" disappears, indicating that the block function is canceled.
