The Protocols/Parameters dialog box in Figure 4-8 reappears. If this is the second installation of the driver, the Protocol and Parameter box titles will read 3C971F_2. The third installation will use 3C971F_3, and so forth.

Go to step 1 at the beginning of this section and repeat the configuration procedure.

Editing the AUTOEXEC.NCF File

Before exiting the NetWare utility, you must add the ASIG command to the AUTOEXEC.NCF file. This command loads the communication software for switched virtual circuits and should be included in the bootup sequence. If the command is not added, you must issue the ASIG command manually each time the server is rebooted or turned on.

To add the ASIG command to the AUTOEXEC.NCF file, access the NetWare Installation Options dialog box shown in Figure 4-1 and follow these steps:
