Identifying an RJ-45 Rollover Cable
You can identify a rollover cable by holding the two ends of the cable next to each other, with the tab at the back. The wire connected to the pin on the outside of the lefthand plug should be the same color as as the wire connected to the pin on the outside of the righthand plug, as shown in Figure
