Routine inspection procedure
qSet the power switches on the unit, video cameras, TV monitor and other equipment connected in the monitoring system to the ON position.
wIs the picture on the TV monitor OK?
tPress the TIME MODE button to set to the mode to 6H (6 hours).

yPress the PLAY button. The tape is played back by an amount equivalent to a count on the counter of several figures.

eAre the date and time displayed on the TV monitor correct?
uIs the playback image OK?
iIs there any problem with the recorded date and time?
oPress the REC button.

rRewind the cassette tape, which was recorded on the previous day, by an amount equivalent to a count on the counter of several figures.

!1Upon completion of all the checks, set the unit to the desired mode.
Action taken after routine inspections
In the unlikely event of a problem with the unit, turn off the power, take hold of the power plug and disconnect it from the power outlet, and consult with the dealer from whom the unit was purchased.
Regular inspections recommended
This unit has an hour meter which shows for how many hours the VTR has been used. When the MENU/REC LOCK switch is set to MENU, Menu Screen 1 appears on the TV monitor, and the hour meter can be checked. Use the hour meter as a rough guideline to cleaning or replacing the parts inside the unit. For further details, consult with your dealer.
