40	TIMER RECORDING

This unit allows you to preset up to 16 recording timer settings using either one of the following:

•VIDEO PLUS+® Timer programming

•Express Timer programming

VIDEO PLUS+® Timer programming

With the VIDEO PLUS+® system, timer programming is greatly simpliﬁed because each TV programme has a respective code number which this unit is able to recognize.

•Make sure that the clock built in this unit is set properly.

•Turn on the TV and select an appropriate input (AV) mode.

•To record a satellite broadcast, install the supplied satellite controller on page 17.

•When using the buttons on the unit, make sure that the HDD lamp on the unit is lit. If not, press DVD/ HDD so that the HDD lamp lights.

•When using the remote control, slide the DVD/TV/ HDD selector to the right (HDD), then press ENTER.

1Show the PROGRAM screen.

Press HDD PROGRAMME.

2Select the VIDEO PLUS+® Timer programming.

Press 3 / 2 / ° / 5 to move to “VIDEO PLUS+,” then press ENTER.

NOTE

If “PROGRAMME FULL DELETE UNWANTED TIMER PROGRAMME” appears on the TV, erase unwanted programmings from memory (see page 45).

3Enter the PLUSCODE number.

1Press 3 / 2 / ° / 5 to move to a desired number, then press

ENTER.

2Repeat step 1 until you enter the entire PLUSCODE number.

NOTE

You can also use number buttons to enter the PLUSCODE

number.

•To make an incorrect number, press 3 / 2 / ° / 5 to move to “DELETE,” then press ENTER.

Each time you press the button, the last entry is cancelled.

•To delete all entered numbers at a time, press 3 / 2 /

° / 5 to move to “DELETE ALL,” then press ENTER.

4Conﬁrm the PLUSCODE number.

Press ° to move to “CONFIRM,” then press

ENTER.

To go back to the previous screen while programming, press RETURN.

•The PLUSCODE number you have entered and its contents of the timer programming are shown on the screen.

NOTES

•If the number you entered is invalid, “PLUSCODE NO. ERROR CONFIRM PLUSCODE NO. THEN RETRY” appears on the TV. Enter a valid PLUSCODE number.

•If “...SET GUIDE PROG THEN RETRY” appears on the TV, set Guide Program numbers (see page 69) manually.
