To repeat an MP3 ﬁle(s)

1Press ON SCREEN once.

The pull-down menu for Repeat Play appears.

2Press ° or 5 to select an option you want, then press ENTER.

•TRACK: Current ﬁle repeat

•GROUP:Current group repeat

•ALL: All ﬁle repeat

•OFF: Repeat Play is cancelled

Selected repeat mode also appears on the MP3 CONTROL screen.

To start Repeat Play, press 3 (SELECT) if necessary.

To stop repeat playback

Press 7 (CLEAR).

•The unit stops playback but does not cancel Repeat Play.

To cancel Repeat Play

Select “OFF” in step 2 above.

NOTE

When Repeat Play is selected, an appropriate repeat indicator

also lights in the display window— or 1.

Playing a JPEG disc

The unit can play back JPEG ﬁles on a personally recorded CD-R/RW disc.

A disc that contains JPEG ﬁles is referred to as a “JPEG disc” in this manual.

Notice that if a disc contains both of MP3 and JPEG ﬁles, you can only play back ﬁles of the type selected by the “MP3/JPEG” setting in the “PICTURE” menu (see page 77).

About JPEG discs

In a JPEG disc, each picture is recorded as a ﬁle. Files are sometimes grouped into folders by category, etc.

•A folder which has one or more ﬁles is regarded as a group.

•A folder which does not contain any ﬁles directly is ignored.

•Files which do not belong to any folder are grouped into “group 1.”

•The unit recognizes up to 150 ﬁles per group, and up to 99 groups per disc. If there are ﬁles other than JPEG ﬁles, they are also counted in the 150-ﬁle total.
