Basic operations

Use the following buttons to operate a JPEG disc.

3 (SELECT):	Starts slide show while stopped or
	paused.

7(CLEAR) or MENU: Stops slide show.

8or ENTER: Keep showing the same picture.

4/¢:Skips back or forward a ﬁle during

slide show.

NOTES

•The unit supports the baseline JPEG format.

•The unit does not support “packet writing (UDF format)” discs. •The unit supports discs recorded with multiple sessions.

•The unit may not be able to read some discs, or may take a long time to display a picture in the disc, due to disc characteristics, recording conditions, or numbers of groups (folders), etc.

•Program Play and Random Play cannot be used for JPEG discs. •Screen Saver will be activated if the same picture is displayed

for more than 5 minutes.

•The unit only can play back ﬁles with the following ﬁle extensions; “.jpg,” “.jpeg,” “.JPG,” “.JPEG” and any other combination of upper case and lower case letters (such as “.Jpg”).

•If a JPEG ﬁle name includes any 2-byte character, the unit may not show the ﬁle name correctly.

•If a picture has been saved at greater than 640 x 480 pixel resolution, it may take some time to display the picture.

•The unit does not support pixel size of more than 2400 pixels in horizontal resolution. Make sure that the horizontal resolution of the picture pixel size is 2400 pixels or less.

Operations using the JPEG CONTROL screen

When inserting a JPEG disc, the JPEG CONTROL screen automatically appears on the TV.

•When using the buttons on the unit, make sure that the DVD lamp on the unit is lit. If not, press DVD/ HDD so that the DVD lamp lights.

•When using the remote control, slide the DVD/TV/ HDD selector to the left (DVD), then press ENTER.
