Digital Audio Output

Sets the DVD/HDTV Receiver’s Digital Audio Output according to the type of audio system you use.

1Press MENU to display the on-screen menu.

2Select the OPTION menu using 3 / 4 then press (SELECT) or 2.

3 Select the Digital Audio Output option using 3 / 4 then press (SELECT) or 2.

Select the desired digital audio output using 3 / 4 then press 4 (SELECT).

Dolby Digital: Select “Dolby Digital” if you connected the DVD/HDTV Receiver’s DIGITAL OUT jack to a Dolby Digital decoder (or an amplifi- er or other equipment with a Dolby Digital decoder).

PCM: Select “PCM” when the DVD/HDTV Receiver’s DIGITAL OUT jack is connected to a 2-channel digital stereo amplifier.

5 Press MENU to return to the previous menu or press EXIT on the remote control to return to TV viewing.
