Using the TV Guide On Screen System

This free interactive program guide provides up to 8 days of TV programming. The advanced program listings make watching and recording TV shows and programs much easier.

The TV Guide On Screen system consists of 4 main services:

Listings: Displays the available program listings and descriptions.

Search: Allows you to find shows by keyword, alphabetically, or by program category.

Schedule: Allows you to review, edit or delete “Record/Remind” events that were previously set.

Setup: Allows you to make changes to System Settings, Channel Display and Default Options.

NOTE: 1. After initial setup it may take up to 24 hours to receive initial program listings. It may take up to one week to receive a full 8 days of program listings.

2.The Program Guide provides listings for cable-ready, cable box, and digital cable services as well as over-the-air programs. It does not support satellite services.

3.The Program Guide lets you directly schedule and control VCR recordings.

4.The TV Guide On Screen representations shown in this Operating Guide are for illustration purposes only. Channels and program availability will depend on your location.

5.If Cable and Air are both connected, channels from both antennas will be downloaded and shown grouped together in the listings.

Video Window- Displays the current TV program while the Guide is enabled.

Clock Window- Displays the current time.

Tile Highlight- Indicates the current active tile.

Current Services Label- Indicates currently viewed Service Label.

Service Bar- Provides access to the 4 main Guide services.

Time Slot- Provides the program broadcast time frame.

Info Icon- Indicates additional information is available, or the Info Box has additional sizes.

Info Box- Provides information on the highlighted program.

Tile- Displays the program’s title.

Remind Icon- Indicates the program is set to remind and the remind frequency (Once, Daily, Weekly, or Regularly).

Record Icon- Indicates the program is set to record and the record frequency (Once, Daily, Weekly, or Regularly).

Channel Logo- Indicates the channel logo for easy identification.

Panel Menu/Panel Ad- Displays Menu options and program advertising.
