On-Screen Menus/Displays Overview

Descriptions of the menus and on-screen status displays

Using MENU and the other keys indicated on the optional Installer’s remote, the installer can access the menus/displays described below.

On-Screen Menus

 

 

Setup Menu

 

Adjusts the basic characteristics of the TV.

Auto Program

Automatically finds and stores active channels to scroll

 

 

through using Channel Up/Down.

 

Add/Del/Blnk

Manually pick and choose which active channels will appear

 

 

when using Channel Up/Down.

 

Channel Labels

Label the channels with their network names (ABC, CBS,

 

 

HBO, etc.).

 

Clock Set

Sets the time on the TV.

 

Timer

Sets the TV’s automatic turn On/Off times.

Captions

Analog-Digital Captions (Caption/Text) Setup Overview.

Captions Menus

Analog-Digital Captions Menus Structures.

Audio Language

Sets the digital audio language, if available on program.

Chooses the language the on-screen menus will appear in.

Alarm Menu

Set a time for the TV to turn itself on.

Ratio (Aspect Ratio is only for Digital Channels).

Ch Preview

Displays the available channels

(Only Analog Channels are displayed not Digital).

Captions/Text

Turns selected Caption/Text option On and Off; press CC to

Sleep Timer

Sets the time the TV will turn Off.

 

Ghost Channel

Shows the current channel number in red scrolling down the

 

 

screen. Refer to Installer menu to turn Off.
