Verify the desired day and time. If needed, repeat Step 5 to correctly set the values.

To save the beginning day and time settings, hold down SELECT until 8;=ý C79HE appears. Then ;DJ C79HE appears.

6.Enter the next step of the macro sequence. For the example, you have entered the beginning time for the macro and you must now program the VCR to turn on and record your television show. Enter the following data:

Touch the mode key of the desired device (for the example, touch VCR/DVD). I;BýJEý;D: appears and remains on the screen until you finish programming this step of the macro.

Press POWER to turn on the VCR. Touch 0 4 to enter channel 04. Touch REC.

Hold down SELECT until ;D:ýJ?C; appears.

Enter the ending day and time when your TV pro- gram stops.

Note: If you have chosen C¶< as the beginning day, the day field cannot be changed.

Touch the up or down arrow until the desired day appears (for the example, scroll to C¶<). Touch SELECT. The hour flashes.
