PROGRAMMING MACROS

Your remote control has three macro keys (1M, 2M, and 3M) you can use to program commonly-used operations.

You can store up 15 keystrokes (including learned keys) on each macro key. For example, you can create a mac- ro that will instantly power on the TV and cable box and then tune-in a favorite channel.

1.Turn off all home entertainment devices.

2.Hold down P for at least 3 seconds. 9E:;ý I;J appears.

3.Touch the down arrow four times. C79HEý A;O appears.

Note: If you scroll past C79HEý A;O, touch the up arrow to return to it.

4.Touch SELECT. I;BýC79HE appears.

5.Press a macro key (1M, 2M, or 3M). ;DJý C79HE appears. For the example, press 1M.

Note: Pressing a previously-programmed macro key will overwrite its contents.

6.Press the appropriate keys in the desired order.

For the example, entering the following keys in the below order to program 1M to turn on the TV and cable box, then tune the cable to channel 061.

Touch TV. I;BýJEý;D: appears.

Note: I;Bý JEý ;D: prompts you to press SELECT when you reach the end of the macro sequence you are entering.
