3.Touch the down arrow two times. B;7HD appears.

Note: If you scroll past B;7HD, touch the up key to return to it.

4.Touch SELECT. The last selected mode appears.

5.If needed, touch a mode key to select a different device to be learned.

6.Place your original device’s remote control head-to- head (about 2 inches apart) with the 8-In-One.

Note: For best results, use low-level ambient light- ing and stay away from high levels of natural day- light or energy-efficient fluorescent lights.

7.On the original remote control, hold down the key you want to be learned. On the 8-In-One, touch a key where you want the learned data to reside. The red light flashes rapidly and B;7HD?D= appears.

Note: Be sure to press (or touch) each key within 5 seconds. Otherwise, an error message appears as a reminder to perform the actions listed in this step.

If ?DL7B?: appears, the selected key cannot be learned.

If IK99;II appears, the selected key was learned.

If there is a problem, ;HHEH appears. Repeat Step 6 until IK99;II appears.

To learn other functions from the same device’s remote control, repeat Steps 6 and 7.

8.To exit programming, hold down P for at least 3 sec- onds. ;N?J?D= appears, then the remote control returns to the last-used mode screen.

If desired, repeat Steps 2–8 to learn functions from a dif- ferent device’s remote control.
