1 STANDBY/ON

Switches the receiver between on and standby.

2 STANDBY indicator

Lights when the receiver is in standby.

3 Remote sensor

Receives the signals from the remote control.

5MULTI JOG/INPUT SELECTOR dial The MULTI JOG/INPUT SELECTOR dial performs a number of tasks. Use it to select options after pressing TONE CONTROL, QUICK SETUP or TUNER EDIT.

6MASTER VOLUME

7PHONES jack

Use to connect headphones. When the headphones are connected, there is no sound output from the speakers.

8STATION (+/–) buttons (pages 46–47) Selects station presets when using the tuner.

9TUNING buttons (page 45)

Selects the frequency when using the tuner.

10LISTENING MODE buttons

STANDARD (pages 32, 34)

Press for Standard decoding and to switch between the various Pro Logic II options.

ADVANCED SURROUND (pages 33, 35) Use to switch between the various surround modes.

STEREO/DIRECT (pages 32, 35) Switches direct playback on or off. Direct playback bypasses the tone controls and channel levels for the most accurate reproduction of a source.
