Disc Menu DVD

You can stop playing the disc temporarily and call up the on-disc menu screen.

qPress [MENU] on the remote control during playback. w Press [}]/[{]/[]]/[[] to select an item.

e Press [ENTER] to determine the selection.

Title Menu DVD

You can stop playing the disc temporarily and call up the on-disc title menu screen.

qPress and hold [MENU] (TITLE) on the remote con-

trol for more than 2 seconds during playback.

wPress [}]/[{]/[]]/[[] to select an item. e Press [ENTER] to determine the selection.

Note:

¡You can also select an item by pressing [0] to [9] on the remote control. (Press [RET] to cancel the operation.)

Functions Only by Remote Control Unit

Stop DVD VCD

Press [3] (STOP).

Press [5] (PLAY) to resume playback from the point where [3] (STOP) is pressed. (Continued playback func- tion)

To cancel continued playback, press [3] (STOP) again in the stop mode.

Frame to Frame Play DVD VCD

Press [y] (PAUSE) to go to next frame in the pause. To resume normal playback, press [5] (PLAY).

Direct Selection (during play- back)

Direct Chapter Selection DVD

Example: Chapter number 10

qPress [GRP].

wPress [1] [0]. (Press [RET] to cancel.) e Press [ENTER].

Direct Title Selection DVD

Example: Title number 10

qPress [GRP] twice.

Only for PBC-applicable (Playback control a Page 45) VCDs or some DVDs

¡If a non-existent title/chapter/track/number is input and entered, the command is invalid and the display returns to regular mode.
