TO SET THE ON TIMER

This feature allows you to have the TV automatically turn “ON” at a predeter- mined time. Once you have programmed the ON TIMER, it will switch the TV on every day at the same time and same

Preparation

Press TV/VCR to select TV/VCR mode.

EXAMPLE:

Turning on the TV to channel 3 at 7:45, MONDAY-FRIDAY.

NOTES:

•The TV will automatically turn off approximately 1 hour later after the ON TIMER turns on the TV. If you wish to continue watching the TV, press any button to cancel the one hour automatic shut off. This shut off feature prevents the TV from playing continuously if no OFF TIMER is set.

•To cancel the ON TIMER function; To cancel ON TIMER, follow above steps 1-6, then press ▲ or ▼ to select the CANCEL position. Press MENU to return to the TV.

•After setting the ON TIMER, “ ” of the OFF TIMER will flash on and off. If you wish to set the OFF TIMER, press ENTER then follow the steps 3-6 on page 19.

1 Press MENU. Select the TV SETUP mode using ▲ or ▼ then press ENTER.

2 Press ▲ or ▼ to select the ON/ OFF TIMER SET mode, then press ENTER.

3 Press ▲ or ▼ to set the ON TIMER option, then press

ENTER.

4 Press ▲ or ▼ to set the desired hour, then press .

5 Set the desired minute, channel and daily or weekly timer date as in step 4, then press .

6 Press ▲ or ▼ to select the SET mode, then press ENTER. Press MENU 3 times to return to normal TV screen.
