Dubbing

[HDD] [RAM] [DVD-R] [SD] [CARD] (Mobile hard disk only)

 

It is possible to dub a program or play list to another drive.

Dubbing a play list will create a program.

You can dub a maximum of 250 programs to HDD and 99 pro- grams to DVD-RAM or DVD-R.

You can dub a maximum of 999 SD VIDEO (MPEG4) programs.

You can high speed dub. Using a high speed compatible DVD-R allows you to dub in an even shorter amount of time.

You can use the Direct Navigator to play SD VIDEO (MPEG2) recorded on future releases of Panasonic video cameras by using the “High Speed (MPEG2)” mode for dubbing.

Refer to page 15 for details about storage media and associated limits.

The confirmation screen will be displayed.

Press [2, 1] to select “Yes” and press [ENTER] to start dubbing.

To stop dubbing

Press and hold [RETURN] for 3 seconds.

If stopped partway, dubbing will be up to that point. However, in high speed mode, only programs that have completed dubbing at the point stopped are dubbed. (Remaining disc space will be reduced once you have recorded/dubbed to DVD-R.)
