WARRANTY

WAL-MART warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects, in material and workmanship under normal use and conditions for a designated period from date of original purchase in Canada. For a WARRANTY period of

18 MONTHS

Should service be necessary under this warranty for any reason due to manufacturing defect during the warranty period, Wal-Mart Canada will repair or replace (at its discretion) the defective merchandise at no charge.

THIS UNIT CAN BE REPAIRED AND OR REPLACED BY WAL-MART CANADA SERVICE

NOTE: This warranty is void if the product is:

(a)Damaged through negligence, misuse, abuse, or accident.

(b)Used in a commercial application or rentals.

(c)Modified or repaired by anyone other than Wal-Mart Canada.

(d)Damage caused by improper connection to other equipment.

(e)If the original proof of purchase cannot be supplied.

NOTE: This warranty does not cover:

(a)Damage to the tape or tape cartridge (if applicable).

(b)Cleaning of video heads (if applicable).

(c)Damage occurred or costs incurred in the shipping of the product to Wal-Mart Canada.

(d)Ordinary adjustments to the product which can be performed by customer as out- lined in the owner’s manual.

(e)Signal reception problems caused by external antenna, cable systems or interference.

(f)Incompatibility due to the change in TV/CATV broadcast systems after the product was sold.

THIS WARRANTY IS NON-TRANSFERABLE AND APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGNAL PUR-

CHASER AND DOES NOT EXTEND TO SUBSEQUENT OWNERS OF THE PRODUCT, ANY

APPLICABLE IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY,

ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD OF THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY AS PROVIDED

HEREIN BEGINNING WITH THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE AT RETAIL AND NO

WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, SHALL APPLY TO THIS PRODUCT

THEREAFTER.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WAL-MART CANADA BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS,

DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF,

OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT.
