INSTALLING THE REMOTE CONTROL’S BATTERIES

The remote control requires two AA batteries (not supplied) for operation. For the longest battery life, use alka- line batteries (Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-552). To ensure consistent opera- tion, change the batteries about once a year.

Batteries

1.Remove the battery compartment cover by pressing down and slid- ing it in the direction of the arrow.

2.Install two AA batteries as indi- cated by the polarity markings (+ and –) inside the compartment.

Cautions:

Batteries installed incorrectly might leak and damage the remote control.

Do not mix old batteries with new ones, and do not mix differ- ent types of batteries (for exam- ple, standard and alkaline).

3.Replace the cover.
