FEATURES

Your Model 29/Model 30 Color TV with Built-In VHS VCR combines a versatile color TV/monitor and a VCR in one space-saving cabinet. The TV/ VCR receives TV programs and plays video tapes. It also records onto video tapes from TV programs or an audio/video source you connect to it.

Please read this owner’s manual carefully. It has been prepared to assist you with initial setup procedures and to guide you in the TV/VCR’s everyday operation.

GENERAL

Automatic/Manual Clock Setting — lets you set the TV/VCR to automatically update its clock using EDS (Extended Data Service) signals broadcast by certain stations. You can also manually set the clock.

Note: EDS is a service provided by some broad- casters to transmit various types of information including the current time. If no broadcasters in your area transmit EDS signals, automatic clock setting will not work.

Station Display — automatically displays sta- tion identification call letters if a station transmits them.

Automatic DST (Daylight Saving Time) Ad- justment — lets you set the TV/VCR to auto- matically adjust the time for Daylight Saving Time.

Remote Control — provides remote access to most of the tape-motion and TV controls.

Note: Your TV/VCR’s remote control requires two AA batteries (not included) for operation.

Rear Audio/Video Input Jacks — let you quickly connect an audio/video device such as a
