USING ONE-MINUTE SKIP

With this feature, you can skip over unwanted portions of a recording such as commercials. While playing a tape, simply press ZERO/1MIN. The TV/VCR fast-forwards the tape, skipping over 60 seconds of recorded time. Then normal playback resumes.

4.If necessary, press SEL or SEL to select REPEAT PLAY, then press SET to select ON. The REPEAT indicator lights on the front panel.

To cancel automatic repeat playback, select

OFF.

5.Press MENU twice to return to the normal screen.

USING AUTOMATIC REPEAT PLAYBACK

Your TV/VCR lets you automatically repeat playback from the beginning to the end of a tape, or from the beginning to a blank (unrecord- ed) portion of a tape (at least 30 seconds long).

To automatically repeat playback using the front panel, repeatedly press PLAY/REPEAT until the REPEAT indicator lights on the front panel. To cancel automatic repeat playback, repeatedly press PLAY/REPEAT until the REPEAT indicator turns off.

Or, follow these steps to automatically repeat playback using the remote control.

1.Press MENU. The main menu appears on the TV screen.

2.Repeatedly press SEL or SEL to high- light VCR.

3.Press SET to display the SET UP VCR screen.

USING VCR LOCK

You can use the VCR lock feature to prevent op- eration of the VCR. This is handy if you want to stop small children from using the VCR.

To turn on VCR lock, while the tape is stopped, press and hold down STOP/EJECT on the front panel for more than 7 seconds until VCR LOCK ACTIVATED appears on the screen.

If any VCR control button on the TV/VCR (ex- cept STOP/EJECT) or remote control is pressed, VCR LOCK ACTIVATED appears on the screen, and the button does not function.

To release VCR lock, press and hold down STOP/EJECT on the front panel for more than 7 seconds until VCR LOCK OFF appears on the screen.

Notes:

VCR lock is automatically released after 24 hours (when the clock is set).

You cannot turn on or release VCR lock when a timer or quick timer recording is in progress.

TURNING ERROR BEEP ON/OFF

The TV/VCR is preset to sound an error beep if you make an invalid entry or try an invalid oper- ation, but you can turn the beep off.
