Possible cause: The vSphere user is not assigned the vCenter Administrator role.

Action: Close the window, assign the required role to the user, and then try clicking the HP icon again in the vCenter Console. For instructions, see the HP Insight Control for VMware vCenter Server Installation Guide.

Internet Explorer script error when you select host and click Overview in HP Management pane

Possible cause: The host URL is not on the Internet Explorer list of trusted sites.

Action: Complete the following procedure:

1.Start Internet Explorer.

2.Select Tools→Internet Options.

3.Click the Security tab and select the zone Trusted sites.

4.Click the Sites button.

5.Verify that the https URL for the host is included in the list. If it is not, type the address in the Add this website to the zone box, and then click Add.

6.Click Close, and then click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.

7.Close Internet Explorer.

8.Restart the vSphere Client.

After you complete this procedure, navigate to the Overview page for the host you want to view.
