Monitoring feature

This feature allows you to monitor the room where a unit is located. The monitored unit does not ring, allowing you to easily monitor a baby’s room, for example, from different areas of the house.

Enabling monitoring access

To use the monitoring feature, you need to set the destination unit to be monitored beforehand.

Permit”: allows the unit to be monitored.

Deny”: denies access from other units.

Handset

1 {MENU} (center of joystick) ihi {SELECT}

2 Monitor access” i{SELECT}

3 Select the desired setting. (Default:

Deny”) i{SAVE} i{OFF}

Base unit

1 {MENU} ihi{SET}

2 Monitor access” i{SET}

3 Select the desired setting. (Default: “Deny”) i{SET} i{STOP}

Audio monitor

This feature allows you to listen to the audio in a room where the handset or base unit is located.

Before using this feature, allow access to the destination unit by selecting “Permit” in the monitor access setting (page 36).

2 Select the desired unit. i{SELECT} LYou can listen to the audio.

3 Press {OFF} to stop monitoring.

Base unit

1 {MENU} iFi{SET}

2 Select the desired unit. i{SET} LYou can listen to the audio.

3 Press {SP-PHONE} to stop monitoring.

Note for handset and base unit:

LTo start monitoring quickly, press {INTERCOM}, then press {*} instead of step 1.
