Editing Using Another VCR

connect up Connect the two VCRs together using a 21-pin SCART cable. If this VCR is to be the player, connect its L-1 IN/OUT connecter to the recording VCR. If this VCR is to be the recorder, you can use either the L-1 IN/OUT or the L-2 IN/DECODER connecter to connect to the player VCR.

set recorder input mode The recording VCR mode must be set to AUX. If this VCR is the recorder, press AUX and /or PR to select L-1(if you’ve used the L-2 IN/DECODER connecter) or L-2(if you’ve used the L-1 IN/OUT connecter). If this VCR is the player, set O.S.D. to OFF. ( pg. 43)

set edit mode See Picture Control on page 30.

start source vcr Engage its PLAY mode.

start recording vcr Engage its RECORD mode.
