4)If no cartridge is loaded in the drive, the autoloader assumes that you want to eject the magazine. After waiting for 35 seconds, it ejects the magazine. The autoloader is then reset as though power had been cycled.

NOTE:

Forced ejection overrides any host command that has been sent to dis- able the Eject button, and can abort any SCSI operations in which the autoloader is engaged in.
