1 Introduction

This product is a high capacity backup system for use with the PRIMERGY line of servers using the SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) interface for the connec- tion.

This product comes with the following features:

•A maximum storage capacity of 72 GB (PG-DTA101/PGBDTA101) or 120 GB (PG-DTA102/PGBDTA102) using 6 cartridges without data compression.

•Supports data compression. (The compression ratio varies depending on the type of data.)

•ANSI DDS (Digital Data Storage) compliant. (PG-DTA101/PGBDTA101 con- forms to the DDS-3 format while the PG-DTA102/PGBDTA102 conforms to the DDS-4 format.)
