Country Code

Enter the 2-letter code for the country/area whose stan- dards were used to rate your DVDs, referring to the “Country Code List” on page 56.

6Enter a 4-digit password using the 0-9 buttons. Enter the 4-digit password again to confirm.

You can set the default DVD recording quality to: XP (1 hr/disc), SP (2 hrs/disc), LP (4 hrs/disc), or EP (6 hrs/disc)

press SETUP to exit the menu.

VCR Record Mode

You can set the default VCR recording quality to SP (Standard Play) or SLP (Super Long Play). SP is higher quality, but SLP provides 3 times the recording time; e.g., a 2 hour tape will record for 6 hours in SLP mode.
