Picture format
DAuto Zoom
This function evaluates the current picture format and switches automatically between ”FULL SCREEN” and ”4:3 LETTERBOX TO 16:9”.
Under the option <DISPLAY ⇒ ZOOM>, you can set the preset picture formats. Manual format selection is possible only if ”Off” is set under the option <AUTO ZOOM>.
DPanorama
This format setting automatically scales the input signal, horizontally and vertically, so that the picture fills the entire screen, but not linearly, i.e. the picture’s content in the centre of the screen is displayed like the original and towards the edges more intense scaling takes place.
DNormal (4:3)
This format setting displays a PAL 4:3 picture with the correct side ratio. Dark stripes are visible on the left and
DFull screen
In this format setting the picture is adjusted horizontally and vertically so that a full screen is always displayed.
DUser zoom
If you select User zoom, the option <USER ZOOM> is displayed in the menu.
With this option you can display an individual picture format ranging from 40 to 160% of the original picture size. The value is set in increments of 6 %.
D4:3 Letterbox to 16:9 - centred picture in 16:9 letterbox format
D16:9 Top - picture in 16:9 letterbox format with subtitles
D14:9 - centred image in 14:9 letterbox format
D14:9 Top - picture in 14:9 letterbox format with subtitles
To toggle between the formats, press the [F
] button repeatedly.

Fill AR 1:1
To switch the function “Auto Zoom” on, by pressing the [AUTO] button.
Display the main menu by pressing the [MENU] button. Select the menu option[DISPLAY] and then [AUTO ZOOM]. To switch the function “Auto Zoom” off, by pressing the ["] button.
To change the formats by pressing the [F 
] button.
