Editing While Transfer
Extracting audio from a clip lets you edit the clip on the Liquid blue station during transfer from the MSS to Liquid. Using XReceive automatically extracts audio and trust metadata. The following describes the settings for a manual file import into blue. You can access the file through the Import Media dialog box in Liquid blue.

If you check the box labeled “Trust Media Metadata,” your Liquid blue station uses the clip length information stored with the file on the MSS, enabling you to work with the clip as a whole, even before all of it has been transferred. (Of course, you can only actually edit video from the portion of the file that has been transferred.) If you leave the box unchecked, your station only “sees” the recorded portion of the clip.
