Playing a disc

In DISC PLAYING mode (Operating principle)

1.Load a disc and press PLAY to start playback.

2.To display the banner, press the yellow INFO key.

3.Choose an icon using the , keys or enter a number using the number keys to access a chapter or a title (when the corresponding icon is selected).

4.To remove the banner, press the yellow INFO key or the CLEAR key.

With a DVD

Chapter 1 currently being played (page 35).

Title 3 currently being played (page 35).

Time elapsed (page 35).

For standard playing, repeating of a title, a scene between 2 points A an B, or an entire disc (page 36).

To change the viewing angle for video DVD discs (page 37).

Play mode (page 36).

To choose the dialogue language and audio format (page 36).

To select the language

of the subtitles (page 36).

With an audio CD

Track 1 currently being played (page 35).

To control the repeat reading of a disc, a musical track or repeating of a music track between 2 points A and B (page 36).

To select the play mode (Standard, Random) (page 36).

Introscan - To play the first seconds of each track.

With a VCD (Video CD)

Title currently being played (page 35).

Index currently being played.

To select the PBC function where available on the disc (page 37).

To select the Stereo, Mono, Left or Right audio channel

To control the repeat reading of a disc or a track available on the disc (page 36).

Note: PLAY MODES (PLAY, PAUSE, REV, FWD keys)

uPLAY (Play) Fast forward (u x3, x6…), or reverse (t -x3, -x6…).

K PAUSE (Pause) Slow motion, forward (Kuu 1/2, 1/6 …), or backward (ttK -1/2, -1/6 …).
