Recording functions

Recording from a CD-ROM

Your DMR allows you to copy JPEG images or mp3 files to your hard disc.You can record these files from a CD-Rom. All the files on the CD-R will be recorded on the hard disc of your DMR. You can then rename and/or delete them (manage your recording on page 43).When recording you will no longer be able to use other functions on your DMR.

1.Insert the CD to be copied (music MP3 or JPEG images) in the DMR.

2.display the Main Menu (press STOP or MENU).

3. In the Disc menu select Copy with the

key and confirm with OK.

4.Select Music with the and key to copy mp3 or JPEG files and confirm with OK.

Note: recording can take a certain amount of time, depending on the number of files to be copied.

A progression window appears. Follow the on-screen instructions.The content of the CD- ROM is then recorded on the hard disc of your DMR.The copying operation can take a certain amount of time depending on the number of JPEG or mp3 files to copy.

Note: this screen confirms that the copying of files is in progress.

To stop the copy operation, press STOP.

5. When the copying is completed, the main screen of the DMR is redisplayed.
