Playing an Audio CD

1Insert the disc.

➤After loading the disc, playback starts automatically.

➤If the TV is on, the Audio CD screen appears.

➤During play, the current track number and its elapsed playing time will show on the TV screen and on the Recorder display.

2To stop play at any time, press .

➤ The number of tracks and the total playing time will show on the TV screen and on the Recorder display.

Pause

1Press during play.

2To return to play, press .

Search

1To search forward or backward through the disc at

four times the normal speed, press or .

➤Search begins and the sound is intermittent.

2To step up to eight times the normal speed, press

or again.

➤Search goes to 8x speed, and the sound is mute.

3To return to four times the normal speed, press

or again. If the TV is on, search speed and direction are indicated on the screen each time

or is pressed.

4To end the search, press or as desired.

36PLAYBACK

Moving to another track

●Press during play to step forward to the next track.

●Press during play to return to the beginning of

the current track. Rapidly press repeatedly to step back to previous tracks.

●To go directly to any track, enter the track number using the numerical buttons 0-9.

Repeat track/disc

●To repeat the currently playing track, press REPEAT.

➤‘Repeat track’ appears on the TV screen in the Audio Disc Mode box.

●To repeat the entire disc, press REPEAT a second time.

➤‘Repeat disc’ appears on the TV screen in the Audio Disc Mode box.

●To exit repeat mode, press REPEAT a third time.

Repeat A-B

To repeat a speciﬁc segment of a Track:

1Press A-Bat your chosen starting point.

➤‘Repeat A’ appears on the TV screen in the Audio Disc Mode box.

2Press A-Bagain at your chosen end point.

➤‘Repeat A-B’ appears on the TV screen in the Audio Disc Mode box and the segment begins to play repeatedly.

3To exit the segment and return to normal playback, press A-Bagain.

Scan

Scan plays the ﬁrst 10 seconds of each track on the disc.

1Press SCAN.The ﬁrst 10 seconds of each track will play, beginning with the current track.

2To continue play at your chosen track, press SCAN again or press .
