Updating Your Player

Your player has the ability to download and install product updates. All you need is an Internet connection – wired or wireless. There are two methods you can choose from to update your player: using the USB thumb drive or using the Internet connection.

Updating your player via USB

1.Download the software from www.vizio.com to the root directory of a USB thumb drive.

Notes:

The USB storage device should be 1GB or larger with at least 100MB of free space and formatted FAT32. NTFS and other file systems are not supported.

The USB storage device must not have other .iso or .dat files in the root directory.

2.Connect the USB storage device to the USB port on the front of your player.

3.Follow the on-screen instructions to update your player.

Updating your player via the Internet

When a new software update is available, a message will be displayed on the Home menu. To update the software:

1.Connect your Blu-ray player to your home network (see Connecting to your home network on page 19).

2.Press the B (green) button.

OR

a.Press or to select Settings and then press

SELECT.

b.Press or to select System. The System menu opens.

c.Pressto select Update Via Network and then press SELECT.

3.Follow the on-screen

instructions to update your player.
