7-2 Main Setup

When you fi rst enter the AMI BIOS Setup Utility, you will enter the Main setup screen. You can always return to the Main setup screen by selecting the Main tab on the top of the screen. The Main BIOS Setup screen is shown below.

When you select the Main Setup, the following items will be automatically displayed:

System Overview: The following BIOS information will be displayed:

AMIBIOS

Version

Build Date

ID

Processors

When you select this option, the AMI BIOS will automatically display the status of processors as shown below:

Type

Speed

Counts

System Memory

This option allows the AMI BIOS to display the status of memory installed in the system.
