ASTANDBY button [29]

This button is used to set the DV-SP506 to Standby.

BON button [29]

This button is used to turn on the DV-SP506. Don’t turn on the DV-SP506 until you’ve com- pleted, and double checked all connections.

CNumber buttons [37, 38, 56]

These buttons are used to enter title, chapter, and track numbers and to enter times for locating spe- cific points in time.

To enter a single-digit number, simply press the cor- responding button. To enter a double-digit number, enter the numbers in order from left-to-right (e.g., to enter 14, press [1] then [4].

The [+10] button is used to enter multiples of ten (i.e., 10, 20, 30, and so on). For example, to enter the number 25, press the [+10] button twice fol- lowed by the [5] button.

DAUDIO button [44]

This button is used to select foreign language soundtracks and audio formats (e.g., Dolby Digital or DTS) on DVD-Video discs.

For Video CDs, you can select left-channel, right- channel, mix, or stereo.

ESUBTITLE button [44]

This button is used to select subtitles.

FRANDOM button [40]

This button is used with the Random Playback func- tion.

G SLOW / buttons [33]

These buttons are used for slow-motion playback.

H Previous/Next / buttons [32]

The Previous button is used to select the previous chapter or track. During playback it selects the beginning of the current track.

The Next button is used to select the next chapter or track.

I Fast Reverse/Fast Forward

These buttons are used for fast reverse and fast for- ward.

J Cursor / // buttons [48]

These buttons are used to navigate onscreen menus.

KMENU button [34, 36]

This button is used to display a menu on a DVD or to open the Disc Navigator when using a JPEG disc.
